Engineering Management Program The Vanderbilt University School of Engineering's Engineering Management (EngM) Program is an interdisciplinary program of study designed to expose engineering students to the concepts and theories of: the management of the engineering function, the critical elements of technology development and innovation, and the implementation of such ideas in manufacturing, engineering, and technology environments. Engineering management is not a major at Vanderbilt, but it is a program where students earning a degree in another engineering discipline can acquire a minor in EngM or, if they are earning a B.S. degree in Engineering Science, EngM can be used as an area of concentration. An EngM minor consists of 15 hours of course work, some of which may be taken as electives associated with the student's major program. Five courses are required for the minor: four core courses with the remaining course selected from a list of electives. Program Required Courses (Core Courses):
