Course Introduction Pt 6
Web Page: Most of the course
material, including lecture notes, case
assignments, spreadsheet models, and other course information will be available as
downloadable files on this Web home page (http://mot.vuse.vanderbilt.edu/marketing/).
A Web browser and MS Office for Windows (Word and Excel, or compatible word
processors and spreadsheet programs) will be needed to download and open files.
Access to downloadable course files will be via password (your VUNet
ID), and is restricted to students registered in the class. To obtain
your VUNet ID, go to "Activate
your VUNet ID."
E-mail: A class distribution list will be
established for those situations where it will be
necessary to communicate with and among individuals by e-mail between class sessions.
Students will be asked to provide their e-mail addresses for this list and to check their
e-mail at least daily.
Electronic Submission of Assignments:
Submitting your assignments electronically
allows me to electronically insert my comments and get them back to you faster.
Your whole team can see them without having to pick up the paper, make copies
for team members, and distribute them.
Announcements: Announcements will be posted in
the "Weekly Information" page on the
class web. Students should check them daily, since they will include answers to e-mailed
questions, schedule changes, clarifications to assignments, etc.
